Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our BaseOps engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process development and optimization, implementation, quality assurance, and project management, with a proven track record of enhancing service processes in an automotive or similar industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process Development : Design, develop, and optimize service processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Technical Support : Provide technical assistance to service teams, addressing process issues related to repair procedures, tools, spare parts and equipment.
- Data Analysis : Analyze repair data to identify trends, and areas for improvement, using statistical methods and process mapping techniques.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements. Incorporate feedback from technicians and product managers working with equipment and vehicles to minimize product downtime.
- Documentation : Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials for service processes.
- Continuous Improvement : Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, employing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Training & Mentorship : Train and mentor service technicians on best practices and new processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Service process : Leverage knowledge of manufacturing process flow, building infrastructure development and fleet operations to layout service process flow. Define / capture required data points to validate and monitor repair efficiency.
