Job Title : Quality Technician
Location : Hayward, CA
Duration : 6 Months
Pay Range : $43.00 to $45.00
Job Purpose :
Quality Technician will report to the Vehicle Quality team lead and have the final goal to support the development of business processes to ensure that company products and services provide a high level of quality that meets the defined standards and specifications and, in the end, the customer expectations.
You will be helping in establishing high quality standards and will ensure product quality standards are met through inspection, documentation, and process improvement activities across receiving and vehicle quality operations.
You will support quality management systems by conducting audits, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards in manufacturing and services.
Responsibilities :
Help with Root Cause Analysis activities, Corrective Action implementation and validation
Support process improvement activities.
Document various procedures and work instructions.
Support creating and reporting metrics to demonstrate quality status in NPI, manufacturing, and services.
Perform part and vehicle level Quality Audits to ensure the product is meeting specifications.
Evaluate incoming material to confirm conformance to established quality standards
Enter test result data into SAP and JIRA systems.
Work with cross-functional teams as needed.
Qualifications :
4-6 years of experience in the manufacturing environment (automotive, semiconductor, or aerospace fields are preferred).
Experience in performing Quality Audits based on control plan
Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving and Quality Control methods
Must be familiar with Google suites (words, docs, sheets)
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, oral and written communication skills
Bonus Qualifications :
Previous experience in SAP and / or JIRA system
Industry background and / or experience in; automotive, software, contract manufacturing, customer management
