What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at LanceSoft?
Hybrid schedule Seattle office preferred but other locations will be considered for strong candidates.
The Scrum Master will assist multiple Agile development teams with facilitating and coordinating Agile Scrum processes in addition to guiding and coaching the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices. They will work with teams across the organization to understand requirements and will facilitate planning and estimation with the development teams. The Scrum Master will utilize Jira to track and measure completion of work and provide status updates to key stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of experience leading Agile teams in gile Project Management / Scrum Master role.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, Epics, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement)
- Excellent communication skills and servant leadership skills
- BA / BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related area of study from an accredited college or university with applicable agile and project management experience.
- IT delivery background with software development experience
- Experience with Agile / Kanban Software Development.
- Certification in Agile methodologies, such as PMI-ACP or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.
- Financial Services background is a plus.
