Job Title: Travel Cytotechnologist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Cytotechnologist to join our team at LanceSoft. As a travel cytotechnologist, you will be responsible for analyzing tissue samples to detect abnormal cells and other diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microscopic examinations of tissue samples to identify abnormal cell patterns and structures.
- Analyze data and make accurate diagnoses based on findings.
- Develop and implement effective laboratory procedures to ensure high-quality results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
Requirements:
- Certification by the ASCP Board of Registry as a Cytotechnologist.
- Licensure by the state of Louisiana for Cytology.
- Medical Technology degree with ASCP certification in cytogenetics and histology (acceptable).
- Previous experience in cytotechnology (preferred but not required).

Shift Details:
This position requires working 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, preferably during the day but flexible shifts are available.
