Essential Functions:

• Optimize material flow and delivery using MRP, internal planning, and forecasting tools. Analyzes and revises production plans and provides appropriate delivery dates as required.
• Provide proactive response to engineering changes minimizing obsolescence and shortages.
• Perform capacity planning, and establish materials planning policies such as time fences on schedule changes.
• Develop and work with key performance metrics such as inventory turns, delivery performance, productivity levels, and measure against established targets.
• Provide technical information to support sales, production, and service functions within the organization.
• Facilitate the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process meetings and data updates (sales forecasts, production capacities, aligned production plan, and inventory statuses) process for the product line and for the specific IEM site.
• Use data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in planning and scheduling. Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Conduct scenario planning to assess the impact of changes or unforeseen events on project schedules.
• Utilize the organization's ERP and other tools available for scheduling. Evaluate and refine scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify and manage dependencies between tasks and projects to prevent bottlenecks and conflicts.
• Anticipate and address potential challenges related to task interdependencies.
• Monitor project performance against the established schedule. Analyze deviations from the plan and take corrective actions as needed. Assist in resolving scheduling-related issues and challenges.
• Provide regular status reports to keep all relevant parties informed.
• Communicate any potential risks associated with project schedules.
• Develop contingency plans and communicate potential delays and issues.
• Maintain and communicate accurate and up-to-date documentation related to project schedules, changes, and decisions.
  
  

Competencies

• High competency and understanding of supply chain processes and procedures including planning, scheduling, demand, and replenishment.
• Strong professional communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to analyze and solve problems and conflict resolution.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
  
  

Work Environment

This is primarily an office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. May work offsite in various environments; travel may be required.

Physical Demands

Some PPE may be required (hearing protection, safety shoes, eye protection).

Travel Requirements

Not required, but occasional travel may be needed, not to exceed 15 percent.

Required Education And Experience

• BA/BS degree with 3 years related experience.
• Experience with MRP/ ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations Management.
• 5 years’ experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements.
• Experience with similar heavy equipment OEM companies.
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
  
  

Compensation/Benefits

The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
