Information Technology (IT) Network Technician
Reporting directly to the I.T. Infrastructure Manager, the I.T. Network Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems and infrastructure. This role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring smooth and reliable network performance for Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Bachelor’s degree in computer Networking or related field AND four (4) years’ experience in network administration, OR Eight (8) years’ experience in information technology, with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in network infrastructure administration- required
Cisco CCNA certification – required
Cisco CCNP, preferred
Must have a strong working knowledge of deployment of infrastructure solutions, including data centers, server backup technology, servers, storage, VMware, and networking systems.
Regularly required to talk or hear, stand; walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Associate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
