Are you a skilled handyman with carpentry experience looking for a steady job? Palmetto Woods, a family-owned mobile home community just a mile from Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience : Minimum 5 years in maintenance, particularly with trailers or manufactured homes.
Skills : Strong carpentry, roof repairs, painting, and flooring installation. Basic plumbing, electrical and / or HVAC knowledge is a plus.
Supervisory Role : Must be motivated to lead and manage a team.
Computer Savvy : Ability to track inventory and work progress digitally.
Communication : Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
Your Qualities :
Team player with a can-do attitude
Professional work ethic and commitment to safety
Willing to learn new techniques for the manufactured home industry
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have your own truck and tools
Schedule :
3 days; / week to start
Availability for weekend and after-hour emergencies is essential.
