Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cheese Production Specialist to join our production team. As a key member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that add value and quality to our inputs and create our final high-quality products.
About the Role:
- You will learn how to make world-class cheese by assisting with pasteurization and cheesemaking processes.
- You will perform various manufacturing processes to produce high-quality products.
- You will maintain a safe working environment and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- You will communicate work order progress to your supervisor and other production operators.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You should have brief computer skills.
- You must be able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- You should have at least 1 year of continuous prior experience in any industry.
- You should be self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.
- You should be able to trouble shoot mechanical problems.
- You should be customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team.
Physical Requirements:
- You will frequently move around, including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing and other active movements.
- You will perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
- You may work across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.
