Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our facility, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various systems and controls.
- Work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Employ superior logical-thinking and troubleshooting skills to ensure effective problem-solving.
Schedule and Hours:
Our Maintenance Technician works a 12-hour night shift (5:40pm - 6am) on a rotating schedule of 2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, and 2 on 3 off.
Physical Requirements:
- Bend, twist, turn, push, pull, and stoop when performing maintenance work.
- Lift up to 60 pounds on a routine basis.
- Work with hearing protection in designated areas.
Interpersonal and Organizational Responsibilities:
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Follow written methods and detailed instructions.
- Maintain accurate and legible records and paperwork.
- Communicate complex issues to production personnel and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Minnesota Class 2B Boiler License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem analysis skills.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Two or more years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
