About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Land O'Lakes. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant processing, facility, and support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct repairs and modifications to equipment as needed, using blueprints and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
