Job Summary
This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business, helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers, and other large retailers serve producers and animal owners throughout the United States. Through industry-leading R&D and committed partnerships, we innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute inventory management activities to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Pack and load products onto trailers or containers using a forklift, following safety protocols to prevent damage or injury.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
