About the Team
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Land O'Lakes. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant processing, facility, and support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct repairs and modifications to equipment as needed, using blueprints and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance safety and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
