About the Role
This position plays a vital part in our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team by performing maintenance of the facility and production equipment.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the installation, ongoing maintenance, and necessary repairs for the facility and the production equipment.
You will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices for yourself and others.
- Adapt to changes quickly and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Monitor performance of plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance; perform regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots, and inspections on all machinery and equipment; document work accordingly.
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.
- Able to multitask and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience and Skills
- Must be 18 years or older.
- 6 months of industrial or building facility maintenance experience.
- BASIC computer and math skills.
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals.
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.
- Current valid drivers license.
