About the Role:
The 2nd Class Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair work on production equipment and facility systems. This role is part of our Dairy Food business, creating dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant processing equipment.
- Address errors that occur with machines.
- Monitor mechanical and safety conditions of equipment to ensure it is fully functional.
- Maintain work area, tools, and shop equipment in a clean and functional manner.
- Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices for self and others.
- Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
- Able to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during the production process.
Safety Responsibility:
- Use proper lifting techniques when performing maintenance duties.
- Follow plant safety rules and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- Must hold a Minnesota Class 2B Boiler License.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Must have problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to operate a forklift, maintaining compliance with established forklift safety standards.
