Job Description
The Production Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality final products. This role involves assisting with the pasteurization and cheesemaking processes.
- Performing tasks that require attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.
- Working in a fast-paced environment, the Production Operator must be able to trouble shoot mechanical problems and follow manufacturers specifications and directions.
- Communicating work order progress to supervisor and production operators is an essential function of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A basic understanding of computer skills and the ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.
- Self-reliance and the ability to accurately work under limited supervision.
- Able to work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day.
