About the Role
This Operational Technician - 2nd Shift position is part of our Vermont Creamery business, which produces world-class cheese. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to our inputs and final products.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform various production duties including operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product
- Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Collaborate and follow instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments
Key Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year or more of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, frequent movement and working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments
