Job Summary
This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business, helping our network of local cooperatives and retailers serve producers and animal owners throughout the United States.

The Production Operator focuses on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment including:
- Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
- Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods.
- Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment.
- Monitor and control production processes to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
