About the Role
The Production Operator is a key employee who performs various manufacturing processes to create high-quality products. As a Production Operator, you will learn how to make world-class cheese by assisting with the pasteurization and cheesemaking processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks that add value and quality to inputs and create final high-quality products.
- Assist in receiving and handling raw materials, adding value through proprietary processes, and packaging final products.
- Maintain a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow GMPs, Safety, Quality, and Sanitation plans.
Requirements
- 18 years or older.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.
Work Environment
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and other active movements.
Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.
