Job Summary:

The Production Operator is a front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes to create high-quality, value-added, products. This position involves frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and other active movements while wearing personal protective equipment.

Job Duties:

• Adhere to all Safety and Quality requirements; always ensure complete physical safety of oneself, and one’s co-workers, without exception.

• Operation of packaging equipment.

• Material handling and support of mixing operations.

• Operation of software with a computer and barcode scanner.

• Pallet Jack and Forklift operation.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated reliability in arriving consistently and on time to scheduled shifts.

• Demonstrated positive and collaborative attitude; will readily assist colleagues where they are able.

• Eager to progress individual growth through additional training.

• Comfortable in a basic manufacturing or factory setting including temperature fluctuations and industrial equipment.

• Experience in manufacturing, feed milling, or an agricultural setting is desired, but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age: 18 years of age.

• Ability to lift 50lbs.

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.

Shift:

• Standard shift: 7AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday

• Bi-weekly (2x month) Safety and Quality Training: 6 AM-7 AM

• The applicant must be willing to transition from this shift to a new shift: 6:30 AM-4:30 PM.

  • We are hiring three positions:

    • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

    • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

• Overtime opportunities: occasional Saturdays 7 AM-12 PM.

Benefits:

• Pay

  • $22 per hour starting.

  • Up to $32 per hour with training.

• Paid Time Off

  • Years 1-3: 15 days

  • Years 4-5: 20 days

  • Years 6-15: 25 days

  • Years 16 : 30 days

• Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas (2 Days). Two additional floating holidays are also provided to employees.
