Job Title: Production Operator - Animal Nutrition
This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business, helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers, and other large retailers serve producers and animal owners throughout the United States.
We innovate nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment.
- Monitor quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
- Maintain accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis.
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ensuring physical safety at all times.
- Time management and adaptability.
- Coordination and teamwork skills.
- Active learning and listening skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Frequent movement, including walking, standing, bending, and working in temperature zones.
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
