Job Summary:
This Production Operator role is part of our Nutra Blend business, an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality products for the feed industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all safety processes and quality standards are followed during production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety procedures and insist on safe practices
- Arrive on time and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-task and maintain production pace
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and standard operating procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Collaborate with Leads and Management to complete daily tasks
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing work experience
- Machine operation and/or forklift experience
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent movement, including walking, standing, bending, etc.
- Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Work in temperature zones with dust and chemicals present
- Scheduled shifts may include weekends, holidays, and overtime
