Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift
This position is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business. You will help serve producers and animal owners through local cooperatives, independent dealers, and large retailers across the U.S. We innovate nutrition products and practices for healthier, more productive animals.
Responsibilities:- Focusing on Safety: Adhering to safety procedures, training, and toolbox meetings ensure a safe work environment.
- Ensuring Compliance: GMPs and Food Safety Plan adherence.
- Delivering Continuous Improvement: Efficient use of materials, equipment, and resources in Cost, Quality, Service, People, and Environment initiatives.
- Proactive Communication: Coordinating with Supervisors and functions to optimize operations and resources.
- Effective Planning: Establishing work schedules, assignments, and production schedules to meet customer requirements, production goals, and TMM Objectives.
- Preventative Maintenance: Coordinating with the Maintenance Department.
- Employee Engagement: Leading employees, work teams, and technology utilization for world-class line efficiencies.
- Leadership and Development: Coaches, develops others, and empowers employees.
- Performance Feedback: Providing clear and timely feedback.
Experience-Education (Required):
- High School Diploma 4 years manufacturing experience or Bachelors Degree 2 years manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Candidates in rotational Land O'Lakes programs (TAP/MMT/DMT) are considered.

- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills at various levels of the company.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office usage.
- Effective communication skills in a fast-paced work environment.

- Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills.
Experience (Preferred):
- Prior leadership experience.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Regulatory compliance experience, including OSHA, FDA, EPA, and state agencies.
Operational Hours: Plant operates Day & Evening Shifts; weekends as needed.
Shift/Role Hours of Work: 3:00 pm - 11:30 PM, M-F *Times may vary as needed.
