Sanitation Floater Role
This role is part of our manufacturing team at Land O'Lakes, Inc., performing sanitation tasks.
We're looking for someone who can maintain compliance with HACCP protocols, manage allergen risks, and prevent contamination.
You'll follow processes to maintain buildings and machinery using advanced skills from training and experience.
About the Job
- Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices for yourself and others.
- Follow good manufacturing practices, quality standards, production guidelines, and housekeeping procedures.
- Be able to multitask and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Adjust to varying shift hours according to business needs.
- Assist the Environmental Health and Safety department as required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- 1 year of work experience in any industry.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and respect for others.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of manufacturing or cleaning work experience.
Physical Demands
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
- Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
- Work in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present.
