We are seeking a highly skilled Utilities Technician to join our team at Land O'Lakes. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems, including the ammonia refrigeration system, boilers/steam systems, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, wastewater system, and domestic water systems.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, frequent movement, and working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments. The successful candidate will have strong collaboration, communication skills, and a willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair utilities equipment, including the ammonia refrigeration system, boilers/steam systems, HVAC systems, and domestic water heating systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on utilities equipment.
- Monitor the performance of plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- 6 months of industrial or building facility maintenance experience.
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and product manuals.
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
