What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vocational Evaluator position at Land of Goods Vocational Consulting?
Land of Goods Vocational Consulting partners with state, federal, and private agencies providing all encompassing vocational services. We provide vocational evaluations, expert witness testimony, life care planning services, and much more.
We are currently looking for a fast-paced, detailed-oriented worker that will manage vocational evaluations. The Vocational Evaluator (VE) will primarily meet with clients in a virtual capacity for vocational evaluations. The Vocational Evaluator will also be subjected to in-person work-site evaluations as needed. The VE will provide written reports within necessary timeframes. The VE will use professional wording and speech when in communication with all clients, professionals, and coworkers. The Vocational Evaluator will review, approve and sign off on all reports conducted by a Vocational Evaluator Assistant.
The Vocational Evaluator with maintain integrity, confidentiality, and outstanding customer service. The candidate must demonstrate superior work ethic and exhibit the ability to work with limited supervision. The ideal candidate must also possess detailed oriented and dependable characteristics.
Applicant must meet one of the following:
1. Current certification with the Registry of Professional Vocational Evaluators (PVE) OR Current certification as a Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE) OR American Board of Vocational Experts Diplomat (ABVE/D), Fellow (ABVE/F), International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC) OR Vocational Evaluator Certificate from a national accredited college or university.

2. Master’s degree in vocational evaluation
OR
3. Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling/rehabilitation services, social work (clinical), mental health counseling, clinical psychology and one year of full-time experience using vocational rehabilitation counseling techniques and one year full time of conducting vocational evaluations

This is a contract opportunity that is paid per report, not hourly, with a 60/40 split in your favor.
