LandCare is currently seeking:
Crew Supervisor (Landscaping, must have driver's license)
Supervise crew members responsible for mowing, pruning, irrigation, and landscape installation. Our supervisors work alongside the crews and serve as customer service contact, quality assurance supervisor for each job, equipment supervisor and all other on-site supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Production
- Drive crew to, from, and between worksites
- Monitor irrigation systems on properties to ensure adequate, efficient irrigation on site
- Work around and operates hand tools and mechanical machinery used for landscape maintenance
- Trim and edge around walkways, flower beds, and walls
- Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs
- Spray lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides
- Clean grounds and removes litter
- Prepare and grade terrain
- Seed and sod lawns
- Install and/or move trees, shrubs, and other plant material
- Digs trenches for irrigation systems or piping and supports irrigation technician or manager in the installation of the irrigation systems
- Remove tree brush after tree trimmer’s prune, cut and shape trees.
- Clean out drainage ditches and culverts
- Sharpen and repair equipment, such as shears, lawn mower, spreader, etc.
Leadership
- Assign daily tasks to crew
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Monitor proper use, care, and inventory of company vehicles, equipment, and tools
- Facilitate conflict resolution between crew members
- Communicate crew performance to management
- Train crew members in technique and equipment use
- Complete timesheets and complete other administrative tasks where necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- E-Verify (SS verification)
- Criminal background check
- Pass drug screen
- Must have landscaping experience
- Valid CA Driver's License
