Job Description, Responsibilities, and Measurements of Performance
As a Field Coordinator at LandCo, you’ll be the vital link between our office and field teams, tracking job statuses and ensuring smooth operations across multiple sites. This role requires strong coordination and computer skills to keep projects on track. Here’s what you’ll do and how success is measured:
- Tracking & Reporting: Use an iPad and software to log weather, site conditions, equipment locations, and billable quantities daily; report statuses to Management.
- Coordination: Liaise with management, foremen, vendors, and subs to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time; follow up on action items from meetings,etc.
- Office/Field Support: Communicate contract details to superintendents; attend municipal meetings as a company rep when needed.
- Key Measurements of Success:
- Deliver accurate daily reports on all active job sites.
- Ensure minimal delays due to missing materials or equipment.
- Reduce Management’s follow-up calls by 50% through proactive tracking.
- Maintain accurate billing quantities monthly.
Day-to-Day Expectations of this Position
- Working Conditions: You’ll split time 60% in the field visiting sites and 40% in the office or on calls, with flexibility based on project demands. Expect a dynamic role with variable hours.
- Travel Requirements: Daily travel to job sites within driving distance of Port Vincent is required. A valid driver’s license is essential.

The Requirements of a Great Candidate
- Required:
- Strong computer skills (e.g., iPad, software for tracking/accounting).
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and communicate clearly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in the construction/construction management field (ideally with a focus on heavy civil/infrastructure)
