Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs, such as scheduling appointments and providing cost estimates
- Promote and sell services and products offered by the service department
- Communicate with technicians and service advisors to provide updates on customer vehicles
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and generate referrals
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals set by management
- Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
- Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and sales transactions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in computer skills and willing to learn new systems
- Knowledge of automotive terminology and willingness to continually expand knowledge in the field
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods of time
