What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Leader 2 - Napa position at Landesign Construction and Maintenance Inc?
- Manages the time entry of crew through Aspire mobile app.
- Assess each site condition to be able to assign tasks to crew members.
- Works with Field Supervisor on new job startups, turnovers, to ensures that jobs are kept on schedule and in budget.
- Provides leadership and fosters increased efficiencies, productivity, teamwork, and a healthy work environment
- Continually informs and updates the Field Supervisor as to job progress (or lack thereof).
- Continually coordinates with company Crew Members as to job progress (or lack thereof).
- Fill out and review all job daily field reports for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ensures that all safety procedures are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Ensures. All accidents are properly documented and reported immediately.
- Ensures all workers' compensation insurance claims are properly documented and reported immediately.
- Looks for_ add on sales and report them to the Field Supervisor.
- Ensures all issues are completed correctly.
- Ensures that company production standards are met.
- Ensures that all equipment is operated safely and properly.
- Ensures that all equipment is maintained properly and preventatively maintained daily.
- Evaluates equipment utilization and make a recommendation to the Field Supervisor.
- Ensures that vendor delivery tickets and all paperwork turned in daily.
- Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies, procedures.
- In collaboration with the Field Supervisor, trains his/her field crew members.
- In collaboration with Production Manager and Field, Supervisor evaluates the performance of crew members.
- In collaboration, Field Supervisor engages in conflict resolution with the crew member

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years of experience in landscape maintenance.
- Able to effectively train field crew members.
- Horticultural pruning.
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- How to use safely and efficiently 21",36", 48" walk-behind, stand on or riding mowers.
- How to use Hedgers, Edger, Chainsaws, Blowers, and other common landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable on the company's insurance policy.
- Have a clean criminal record.
- Possesses good organizational skills.
- Possesses, proficiency in Aspire mobile app.
- Proficient in both oral and written communications.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Able to represent the company courteously and professionally.
- Required Certificates and or Licenses: CPR, QWEL Certification
- Paperwork: timesheet & pesticide report
- Handling hazardous materials
- Pest weed control management

Work Environment
This job operates 100% of the time in a field environment. This role routinely uses landscape specific equipment such as company vehicles, hand tools, construction equipment, chemicals, and phones.
