ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:
- Performs mechanical and/or machining repair operations.
- Properly execute the duties assigned.
- Ensure and understand the assigned tasks and have all the tools and equipment require to do the job.
- Understands how to use basic measurement instruments, special tools, equipment, etc.
- Visually inspecting aircraft components to verify compliance in accordance with technical data.
- Dimensional inspecting of aircraft components to verify compliance in accordance with technical data.
- Properly assemble components in accordance with the manufacturer technical data.
- Testing all assembled units in accordance with manufacturer technical data.
- Inspect and verify all components are properly assembled and tested prior to release.
- Keep a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Good planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, mechanical in nature.
- Must be able to operate and read precision instruments.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, procedure manuals, drawings and operating instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Ability to perform mathematics related to dimensional inspections.
- Prior experience in working in an FAA/EASA Certificated Repair Station Operation.
