Accountant

A management consulting firm that provides services to healthcare facilities in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Florida, is looking to hire an accountant to join its Finance and Accounting team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where your key responsibilities will include various accounting tasks such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and handling journal entries
• Oversee and manage general ledger activities
• Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data aligns
• Prepare and record journal entries for business transactions
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reporting and analysis tasks
• Perform month-end close procedures and ensure all deadlines are met
• Ensure all financial reports are prepared and delivered on time
  
  

Requirements:

• 2-5 years general accounting experience in either Public or Private Firm
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred but not required
