Job Responsibilities:
A private investment firm with $1 billion in assets under management is seeking a Fund CFO/Controller to guide their accounting operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Shadow books and records for NAV (both public and private equity funds)
- Manage expense budgets, allocations, and processing for the Management Company and funds
- Provide valuation support and coordination
- Prepare annual audit and financial statements for private funds
- Handle management company accounting, including payroll, expenses, and QuickBooks maintenance
- Prepare management company financials and management packs
- Oversee end-to-end management of trading operations
- Run shadow NAV in order management system against fund administrator
- Support IR/marketing team on client reports and DDQ items
- Conduct financial modeling and project work
- Experience at Big 4 accounting or hedge fund/private equity
- Experience with private equity complex waterfall and performance calculations
- Degree in accounting, CPA or advanced degree preferred
- Interest in expanding skillset beyond accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
