This position would primarily be responsible for assisting with the treasury, accounting, tax and fair market value reporting functions for General Partner entities associated with the Private Equity, Venture, Crypto, and Real Estate Business Units.
Job Responsibilities:

This position would primarily be responsible for assisting with the treasury, accounting, tax and fair market value reporting functions for General Partner entities associated with the Private Equity, Venture, Crypto, and Real Estate Business Units.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operations and administrative activity of the partnerships, including cash management, capital calls, cash distributions, cash reconciliations, bank account openings and related regulatory requirements
- Carry, vesting, and profit/loss allocations to the partners and members of the General Partner entities
- Quarterly and annual fair market value reporting, including supporting documentation for capital accounts, trial balances and other financial reconciliations
- Quarterly tax estimates and annual tax books and reporting for the partnerships
- Cash, book and tax journal entries into Investran, the third party portfolio management and accounting software
- Assist in generating responses to investor inquiries and requests for information
- Create reports for GP investors including fair market value, tax basis activity, and partnership investment reports
- Interact with other teams within Finance to determine appropriate treatment of transactions and investment earnings
- Work with all levels from Associates to Partners on projects to enhance the performance of the team, department, and firm
- Opportunities for additional responsibilities where performance allows
- 1-2 years accounting experience in the financial service industry, with a solid understanding of investment partnerships preferred
- Reliable and collaborative team member with strong sense of ownership and follow-through skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with high attention to detail
- Creative problem solving ability and sound judgment; ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for decisions and propose solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with capacity to interact with all levels
- Enjoys working in a service environment and understands the demands of a high paced, high quality firm
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Works well independently and capitalizes on opportunities to learn and grow
- Advanced MS Office, particularly Excel
