Job Responsibilities:
- Interact closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure timely and accurate execution of investment strategies across client portfolios.
- Rebalance portfolios in response to investment strategies, cash flows, benchmark changes, market price movements, and changes in fund guidelines.
- Monitor positions and verify that transactions are consistent with fund guidelines.
- Interact with various areas of the firm to improve processes and minimize operational risks.
- Monitor performance, risk exposures, and key market sensitivities of positions in portfolios.
- Provide additional value-added contributions to investment teams, such as risk analysis, detailed portfolio data reporting and analysis, exposure tracking, and custom portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of public capital markets and investing.
- Advanced analytical skills, a quantitative orientation, and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using Google Sheets and an aptitude for learning new tools.
- Strong academic credentials; an undergraduate degree is required.
- A post-graduate degree or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFA/CAIA), or progress towards one, would be viewed favorably.
