Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee fund administrator’s operations, including daily resolution of cash and trade breaks and assist in the month-end close process.
- Support the on/off-boarding process related to managers, investments, and service providers through active participation in the Investment Implementation Committee.
- Lead data capture and information maintenance processes to maintain the integrity of the firm’s records of investments.
- Support daily treasury and cash management activities, including monitoring and reconciling cash balances and assisting with cash flow forecasting.
- Execute trades in accordance with funding, liquidation, and repatriation needs across various securities and manage settlements.
- Engage with service providers that enable investment activity, including Investment Managers, Fund Administrators, and Banks.
- Participate in cross-training to enhance understanding across the group and ensure business continuity.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience in Investment Operations, Middle Office, or Fund Accounting.
- Knowledge of financial instruments, including equity and derivative instruments, and private fund investments.
- Investment/fund accounting experience preferred; CPA or pursuing CPA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience with accounting or investment management systems is a plus.
