Senior Tax Associate, CPA (Full-Time)

You will:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including related city and state reports and filings
• Analyze previously filed tax returns for optimization or refund opportunities
• Work with small businesses and their owners to establish best practices that will allow them to operate in a tax advantageous way
• Research tax matters and present solutions in a clear, concise and professional manner
• Create tax models and guidelines, specifically focusing on equity compensation, and S-Corp/LLC operations (tax estimation, reasonable salary, formation, and more)
  
  

We are looking for someone with:

• 2-4 years experience with S corporation, partnership, and individual income tax preparation and planning
• A CPA license and degree in Accounting / Taxation
• Extensive experience setting up and working with multiple aspects of small businesses: bookkeeping, payroll, asset management, and tax preparation
• The ability to break down complex processes to simplify and optimize them
