A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Tax Analyst to join their team. The role will focus on providing tax advisory and compliance support for the firm’s core operating companies across the globe.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day tax advisory and tax compliance support for core operating companies.
- Conduct tax research and analysis, tax planning, tax advice, and tax compliance.
- Review tax workpapers and ensure timely execution and filing of tax returns and withholding requirements.
- Facilitate federal and state filings and relevant tax payments.
- Assist with preparation and calculation of partnership allocations, tax distributions, and effectively connected income.
- Manage non-income tax related filings such as sales and use and property tax returns.
- Coordinate with internal teams and outside advisors for global corporate income tax returns and estimates.
- Prepare management company partnership estimates for individual quarterly reporting.
- Monitor risks and issues related to federal and state partnership tax.
- Prepare responses to tax authority audits and requests for information.
- Strong spreadsheet abilities and thorough working knowledge of Excel, including basic formula functions.
- Experience with pivot tables and compound formula functions preferred.
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach.
- Self-directed and proactive work ethic with an emphasis on taking ownership of tasks.
