What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner/Porter position at Landings Real Estate Group?
We are currently seeking a skilled cleaner/porter for a large apartment and townhome community in Newburgh to maintain and magnify the value of our property. If you are looking for a fast paced, team oriented, and successful company to join, then this may be the opportunity for you!
The selected applicant must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, keen eye for detail and have the ability to multi-task. The hired applicant must also offer good communication skills, basic maintenance skills, be cognizant of deadlines and practice excellent time management.
Job Duties Include:
· Maintaining common area buildings; mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning
· Preparing vacant units for move in
· Upkeep of model units
· Preform steam cleanings in occupied and unoccupied units, including common area hallways
· Grounds Maintenance and all activities associated with landscaping and snow removal
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Ability to read, write and understand English
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must have valid drivers license
· Must be reachable via phone or pager, except when on approved time off
· Must be able to handle moderate lifting
· Background check and pre-employment drug test
