Nursing Home Administrator
Salaried: Monday-Friday day shift, including on-call rotation every 5 weeks.

Nursing Home Administrator Description:
- Responsible for the coordination and delivery of programs and services within Healthcare (103 beds). Supervises the, Director of Nursing, RNAC's/LPNAC's, Medical Records, Rehab, Supply and Consultant Services Assistant.
- Ensures current policy and procedure manual for Landis Homes Nursing Homes.
- Works collaboratively with the Director of Nursing to monitor quality indicators, setting standards, evaluating outcomes and developing a monitoring plan for improvement where indicated.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal rules and regulations as indicated by any regulatory agency.
- Develops and monitors an annual expense, revenue, labor and capital budget for Health Services in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and the Vice President of Health Services. Develops and monitors the budget for Healthcare Administration.
- Develops methods to monitor daily staffing with pre-determined guidelines. Ensures that staffing hours are maintained within budget in regards to skill mix, hours, overtime and dollars.
- Monitors pharmaceutical use and cost to balance therapeutic needs of residents and recommendations from consultant's services.
- Serves on Landis Homes committees as requested.
- Collaborates with the Medical Director, and Director of Nursing in developing standards of care and policies that positively affect resident care.
- Oversees the resident satisfaction survey process, including appropriate follow-up and communication to staff.
Nursing Home Administrator Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Services or related field preferred; if in Nursing, must hold unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of PA.
- Maintains an unencumbered license as a Nursing Home Administrator in the Commonwealth of PA.
- Prior experience in related field or supervisory setting required.
- Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role.
- Good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrates leadership, management skills, dependability and a positive demeanor.
- Demonstrates an understanding of and respect for the values and mission of the organization and its Mennonite/Anabaptist connections.
