Job Summary
The Manager, Finance (SCM) is a strategic leader responsible for driving financial performance, efficiency, and cost optimization across the manufacturing and supply chain functions. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders in Operations, Logistics, Global Procurement, and Sales to provide financial analysis and reporting, guide decision-making, and ensure alignment with overall organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance/accounting, business case analysis and a deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain functions, and cost accounting. Key Responsibilities:
Pay is in the range of $94,000 - $146,851 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held. Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing & Operations Finance
- Serve as the primary finance business partner for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams, providing analytical and strategic support on end-to-end supply chain decisions.
- Oversee all aspects of manufacturing finance, including plant-level budgeting, standard costing, overhead allocation, and variance analysis.
- Partner with Plant Managers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Continuous Improvement teams (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Logistics to validate key cost drivers and analyze financial Impact of strategies for cost control and margin improvement.
- Lead the preparation and review of supply chain and manufacturing budgets, forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.
- Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, proactively recommending actions to address gaps or capitalize on favorable trends.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across production, sourcing, logistics, and distribution for improved visibility and accountability.
- Inventory & Working Capital Management
- Establish and monitor working capital objectives, partnering with operational teams to improve cash flow and reduce inventory days on hand and incorporate into Key Performance Indicators.
- Drive initiatives to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory, partnering with Sales and Operations to find feasible dispositions or alternative uses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance within the Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
- Work closely with other Finance leaders (Corporate FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax) to ensure alignment of company-wide financial goals.
- Partner with IT and Data Analytics teams to enhance financial systems, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making within manufacturing and the wider supply chain.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and all relevant regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Oversee financial reporting for supply chain and plant operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to GAAP/IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust control processes to protect company assets throughout the manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.

- Represents the Company positively and professionally when working with internal and external customers.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel or financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance best practices.
- Ability to create and leverage financial dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to support decision-making.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodology, or other continuous improvement tools is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills In English and Spanish, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders from the production floor to the executive suite. Portuguese would also be helpful.

- Proven record of accomplishment in supply chain or operations finance, including cost accounting, standard costing, overhead allocation, and variance analysis.
- Experience leading or supervising teams and managing budgets in a multi-plant or complex organization
- Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with most of the time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Use other devices like phone, copier/printer/fax, etc.
