- Oversees the proper functioning of the plumbing infrastructure, making repairs, additions and deletions as needed.
- Responds to all fire alarms and ensures that all emergency equipment is operational, including generators, fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems.
- Maintains and repairs building exteriors, including roofs, windows, doors, sidewalks, and pavements.
- Coordinates projects with subcontractors as needed.
- Maintains all outdoor lighting including walkway lights, street lights, and exterior directional signs.
- Repairs appliances as needed.
- Coordinates major purchases with the Director of Facilities.
- Participates in on-call rotation.
- Assists with snow removal and other emergencies as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma/GED or demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing skills required.
- Maintains current valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
- Prior experience in plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance required.
- Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role.
- Good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrates a pleasant personality with flexibility and adaptability for frequent interruptions.
