What are the responsibilities and job description for the Department Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician position at Landmark Ceramics?
We are seeking an experienced Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance/manufacturing and possess a diverse skill set to handle various technical tasks.
Duties
- Repair, perform preventative maintenance, install and maintain industrial equipment used in the manufacturing process.
· Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
· Ensures operation of machinery, electrical and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on electronics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
· Perform machine installation, modification and fabricates as necessary.
· Must be willing to learn and adapt to the company culture.
· Must be ok with heights.
Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Secondary education a plus (i.e. industrial maintenance certificates, etc.)
Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic, industrial electrical work a must.
Prior experience trouble shooting PLCs a plus
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, push, pull and lift for an 8 to 12 hour shift.
Effective communication
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
