What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLC Technician (Entry Level) position at Landmark Ceramics?
UST, Inc. (DBA Landmark Ceramics) is a subsidiary of Gruppo Concorde, a leading tile manufacturer based in Italy. We have built a new state of the art tile manufacturing facility near Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.
This position will be responsible for installing, modifying and troubleshooting electrical components of our manufacturing equipment.
This position will train 8a-5p for several months then transition to the normal shift of 2p-10p. Monday-Friday
Must observe and practice all safety regulations.
Successful candidates should have experience trouble shooting PLCs through the use of a computer or HMI and laptop connections. Programming not required. Siemens and Omron experience required.
Experience with AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) and TGV a plus
General equipment trouble shooting and installation experience required.
Prioritizing, job planning and prior supervision required.
Candidates should have experience with 480, 220 and 110 power requirements for installation, repair and troubleshooting a plus.
Degree or Technical Trade school certification required OR
1 or more years specific job related experience in a manufacturing setting
Must have strong interpersonal skills
Ability to read schematics and drawings a must
On Call when necessary
Other duties as assigned
Job is performed in an industrial setting.
