We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Director to lead the artistic vision and oversee the Landmark School of Dance Program. This role is crucial in fostering a vibrant dance community, developing innovative choreography, and guiding dancers of all skill levels to achieve their artistic God-given potential. You will collaborate closely with other program leaders and administrative staff working under the Arts Department Director to shape the creative direction and effective operations of the program.

ResponsibilitiesModify and implement a comprehensive dance curriculum that aligns with the pedagogy standards of Landmark Christian School
- Teach middle and high school elective dance classes and follow middle and high school guidelines set by administration
- Choreograph, coordinate, direct performances, ensuring high artistic quality and engagement
- Provide mentorship to dancers, fostering their technical, artistic, personal, and spiritual growth
- Foster partnership and community with dance students’ families through effective communication that reflects Christ
- Recruit and manage guest artists and choreographers for workshops and performances
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate dance into broader organizational initiatives such as the theatre program and spring musical
- Manage logistic and administrative tasks for the Landmark School of Dance after school program for elementary students including but not limited to registrations, marketing, and scheduling.
- Teach classes and oversee additional teachers in the Landmark School of Dance after school program.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Dance, Choreography, Education or a related field
- 3 years of experience in dance instruction and choreography
- Experience in multiple dance styles and genres
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to relate to, inspire, and motivate dancers
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
- Passionate about their students, their subject, and their relationship with Jesus Christ
- Strong classroom management across all ages from 4-18 years old
