Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with project teams to coordinate and create takeoffs for various types of construction projects
• Review project documents, plans, and specifications to identify material and labor requirements
• Utilize takeoff software to determine quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for a project
• Prepare accurate estimates for site work and utility projects
• Assist with budget analysis for project materials and labor
• Assist in the preparation of estimates and bids for projects
• Provide technical support to project teams when needed
Position Requirements:
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret data
• Ability to interpret contractual requirements
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Creative thinking to automate processes and increase efficiencies
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong attention to detail
.Desired Training and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
• Prior experience with a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced knowledge of Excel is a MUST!)
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Creative thinking to automate processes and increase efficiencies
