Entry-Level Land Surveyor

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys using various surveying instruments and techniques to determine property boundaries and topographical features.
• Prepare detailed survey drawings and reports using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Collaborate with civil engineers to provide essential data for project planning and design.
• Use GPS and drone equipment.
• Analyze survey data to calculate measurements, angles, and areas using mathematical principles including trigonometry and geometry.
• Utilize software tools drafting and mapping purposes.
• Maintain accurate records of survey results and documentation for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout the surveying process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software, Google, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements and reports.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Previous experience in land surveying or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
