Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and operating heavy-duty vehicles and equipment to support our excavation and construction operations. This role requires a valid CDL Class A license with specific endorsements and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles, including:
- Haul trucks
- Water trucks
- Lowboy trailers for transporting heavy equipment
- Other Class A commercial vehicles as required.
- Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, delivery tickets, and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, supervisors, and site managers.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license with:
- Tanker Endorsement
- No Automatic Transmission Restriction (manual transmission operation required).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
