Landmark Excavating is expanding operations to include heavy transport services, and we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. This role involves driving semi-trucks for heavy equipment transport and operating side dump trucks to deliver materials to sites. Flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to quality service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Heavy Transport Operations:
- Safely load, transport, and unload heavy equipment to and from job sites.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Schedule and execute transports, which will often take place during nights and weekends.
- Side Dump Operations:
- Operate a side dump truck to deliver materials to job sites during non-transport periods.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of the truck to ensure safe operation.
- Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with site managers and dispatch to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Provide support for other transport and hauling needs as directed.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Proven experience in heavy equipment transport.
- Familiarity with side dumping operations and job site material delivery.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical certification.
- Skills:
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends when required.
- Ability to adapt to varying job responsibilities and schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
