Staffing Coordinator
Landmark Hospital is in search of a positive, personable, well organized Staffing Coordinator. This position maintains all aspects of the clinical staff scheduling while adhering to the department staffing guidelines and census. The Clinical Staffing Coordinator is responsible for identifying, coordinating and assigning all available staffing resources to ensure staffing needs are met in accordance with patient census and acuity. This role also provides support for front desk reception and other duties that support hospital operations.
Essential Functions :
- Front desk reception to include greeting and providing information to visitors.
- Prepare work schedules to meet shift requirements.
- Determine staffing shortfalls and adjusts the schedule as needed.
- Responds to staff call outs and updating attendance occurrences in scheduling tool.
- Works collaboratively with managers on scheduling issues.
- Provides guidance as needed for training of scheduling tool.
- Time management and ability to function with minimal direction.
