Landmark Hospitals is seeking an experienced Chaplain to join our team at the Savannah, GA location!
Chaplain duties :
- Assess the spiritual values and needs of patients and their families to provide timely and appropriate pastoral and spiritual intervention
- Assist patients and their families in drawing upon their spiritual resources as an important element in the healing and recovery process
- Provide spiritual consultations, discussing religious matters, questions, issues
- Provide pastoral and spiritual comfort to patients and families in anticipatory grief and bereavement crises
- Advocate for patient rights concerning spiritual, cultural, and psychosocial values and how they impact a patient's and their support systems’ response to their care
- Assists in the transitions of life adjustments, making peace with a major change in a patient’s function or appearance
- Provide education to patients and / or families about Advance Directives, spiritual resources, positive pain management, organ and tissue donation, and other issues of spirituality that may arise
